ND2 Bait Boat – Battery compartment desiccant tray

There are times when the ND2 bait boat can allow a small amount of water into the battery compartment though use and in bad weather. This moisture that is introduced can cause corrosion and electrical faults within the boat. Moisture within the boat can cause Condensation to form when there are temperature differences between the boats internal hull and air temperature if moisture is present.

This product is designed to enable the user to reduce moisture within the boat’s internals. When stored away over winter, during short terms of reduced use and between sessions. Its design and shape makes it fit into the battery compartment alongside a standard battery or two of these can be fitted when no battery is present.

When using the Battery compartment desiccant tray, the battery compartment must be closed with the seal and Battery compartment lid to ensure the moister from the internals of the boat is absorbed.

The Battery compartment desiccant tray is supplied empty and just requires desiccant beads to be added, we recommend buying rechargeable beads so they can be re used over and over again.
